Totally random comment alert! I couldn't find another way to contact you so I hope this is okay. I am wondering if you have any information at all on St. Ladislus in Hamtramck. I am on a genealogy quest to find my great-grandparents, and that was the church listed on my g-grandmother's cemetery record. Please contact me if you can help point me in the right direction! Also, I CANNOT believe St. Maurice is closing - I grew up there!

St. Ladislaus is still open, sort of. It "closed" and merged with a couple other parishes. The church building itself is still open. However all parish records from St. Ladislaus would now be at the newly formed parish. "Blessed John Paul II"
